Weather:
The eastern and western cape have a mediterranean climate. The Summer can vary from warm to hot and during winter you can expect some frost in certain areas. There are more rains in Summer than in Winter. However, the Tsitsikamma is called the place of waters, so you can expect some more rainfalls than usual.Don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, good waterproof jackets, windbreakers, etc.
Communications:
As you arrive to the airport, you can hire mobiles (cellphones) phones. Some of the major companies are Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.
Credit cards
Major credit cards are used: Visa, MC, American Express and Diners Club. Atms are also available.
Gratuities:
Tips are not included in the final bill.
It is customary to tip a 10% to 20% in restaurants.

Distances
South Africa uses Km. Some petrol stations use major credit cards. Just make sure you have some cash with you otherwise, in many petrol stations there are ATMS.
